No foul, ...it was a long shot for me hoping this plate would fit my Kenmore 158.1690.. same style, however this one is too narrow for my bobbin opening. So stuck with a part I cannot use. Seller did nothing wrong, it was all me with fingers crossed...but failed. Seller did great with super protection of this part. Would buy from seller again but verify first if this is the part I need. Lesson learned.
