    I loaned this book to a friend who I thought needed the message of Total Forgiveness. He loved the book and asked me to get him two copies. ALas he was thinking of others applying the wonder truths explained in the book and only gave those truths a kiss and a promise but not a full embrace. He was so enthusiastic about the book that I bought three copies when I ordered two for him. I have yet to read the book but R.T Kendall's message of total forgiveness is on the web and I watched him speak. Amazing what a Kentucky Hillbilly can do when empowered by the indwelling Christ. He reached the ultimate church in England and pastored it 25 years after teaching at Oxford. I am still praying that my 96 year old friend will get saved.     I can't remember why I bought this book except that I had read other books by Kendall and liked them. It is an excellent book for anyone who has had trouble forgiving someone who has hurt them, disappointed them or for anyone who cannot forgive. Kendall goes into detail on how the Lord used another Christian brother in his life who spoke the truth to him about what the Bible says about holding grudges and harboring unforgiveness. This changed Kendall's life and he shares what he has learned about the need to forgive everyone. Unforgiveness is hatred and hatred is murder in God's eyes and the only answer to that is Jesus Christ and the cross where he shed his blood to forgive us - now we are to extend that same grace to even our "enemies". It is only through Jesus that we can have changed ...
