    Confusing lipstick shade variations

    The lipsticks that I ordered arrived promptly as promised. Unfortunately this shade of NYC Lipcolor "Petal" comes in a #314A and B. The site did not distinguish between A and B shades so I took a chance. It was a mistake as I received the A shade and wanted the B shade. The color that I received (I ordered two of them I am afraid) are all wrong. Way too light and I cannot wear them at all. Why the manufacturer (NYC) has two different shades under the same number makes no sense to me. The site that I ordered from did not know of or make the distinction in shades therefore I purchased a product that I am unable to use. The product quality is good just be careful that you actually get the lipstick shade that you want and can use.

    Thank goodness

    NYC is being discontinued, and I use many of their lipsticks & their bronzer also. I'm grateful I was able to find this product, one of my signature lipsticks! Very affordable & worth it.

    Hard to find

    This is a lipstick that has been discontinued from a regular selling price of 99 cents so of course the price is jacked up. Sadly both lipsticks were broken at the bottom but I just pushed then down and used them carefully.
