    Necessary for Intel 1151/1150 CPU. LGA775 coolers will NOT fit 1151/1150

    Intel OEM products seam to be very reliable. I had to buy this for a computer that had a faulty aftermarket heatsink in it. Cooling wise, they are to intel specifications of where they want their cpu to be cooled at. I would opt for fluid cooling even if you do NOT overclock as fluid cooling will significantly extend the life of your computer's processor, as well as it helps smooth out performance more. Please note: socket 775 heatsinks will NOT fit your Socket 1150 and 1151 slots AT ALL. So you must have be aware of this. Intel does NOT do a good job of explaining this.

    Easy to install and works well

    Needed to replace my loud CPU fan from a 2016 HP desktop. This was easy to install (don't forget to purchase the thermal paste separately). Booted right up and the issue was resolved--runs very quiet. Shipped fast and I would recommend.

    These fans are very good.

    I ordered two of these for my 2 computers that I built. The main board on one did not hold the fan properly and it lost one holder on the fan so I needed two more. This fan worked very well in the last computer I built it is still functioning like it should and that has been over 10 years. These fans are great. Gwendolyn Cook

    Great cheap original Intel cooler. It works great, doing what it should do. However, it is a little loud and if you want something less noisy, get a cooler master. Final thought, for the price, you can't go wrong.
