There's a saying - Travel light, freeze at night. Well, you won't be travelling light or freezing at night with this sleeping bag; it weighs in at approx. 5kgs (11lbs), but that does mean you do get a lot of sleeping bag. I have the large version, and to get a realistic idea of its size I had to spread it out on a double bed; laid out flat with no one in it, it covered three quarters of the bed. I intend to use the bag for winter trips in a small camper van rather than for fishing, and I haven’t used it in any cold weather yet, but from my knowledge of using sleeping bags in cold climates in the past, I know this is going to do what I bought it for (temperature wise that is). Pro’s: It is well made, the inner lining is easy to remove when not needed, the crash zips don’t appear to ever catch. It comes with a holdall type bag, rather than a compression sack, so I would suggest you have a couple of practices putting it back into its bag before you use it for real. Con’s: It came with absolutely no information, either sewn in labelling or otherwise! No washing or care instructions, no safety information like whether it’s fire resistant or not, no CE or BS-EN-ISO markings to say whether it conforms to any set of standards, and finally no manufacturer’s details or country of origin. Does any of that worry me? No. But this is a review and it should be noted as it may be of use/importance to others. Read full review

Not the lightest of sleeping bags, but you would be hard pushed to get a sleeping bag of such quality, with its thermal properties any lighter for the price. When compared to my old sleeping bag, it is similar weight, but extremely warm. If you are hiking, then as long as you are used to correctly packing, the weight shouldn't be much of an issue. It's well worth the money for a comfortable night.

A very good fishing bag comes in its own carry bag ,which does go back in without to much effort were as some more expensive bags are let down ,the thickness of the bag is very impressive ,but at the same time quite light ,which as we all know is a plus as all the stuff we hump around with us .the bag is very well stitched ,with good quality crash zips ,and robust clip in straps that are long enough to go round even the largest of wide boy beds .know as for the 5 season rating ,well i would take this to the north pole ,believe me you will not be cold i tuck this out on the river Trent ,Winthorpe and temps dropped 2,two degree and i had to have the bivvy door open fishing was not so good ,but bag was ace .the price for this product i think is remarkable 40 pound some top name company's would want that for a zip and are not even in this class .I CAN NOT FAULT THE BAG IGNORE AT YOUR OWN PERIL Read full review

Exemplary in every way. My first time camping and I’m always cold even in the house, this kept me as snug as a bug! I couldn’t recommend more! I love the way it hooks over the bed and clips around it. Everyone was so jealous! It’s just those extra bits that make the difference. It’s so soft to touch as well! And it’s got an extra plush cosy lining inside!! I’ll be buying again!! ADORE!
