  • Meh.... It works, but not for long.

Instructions are rubbish. Best way to figure it out is to watch some videos on YouTube - search for "Gen2 bearing". Relatively cheap compared to the ones from the likes of Laser tools, but obviously built down to a price. This kit *just* managed to remove and install the front wheel bearings on my V60, but suffered from the thrust bearing on the main puller rod collapsing (twice) Worse, the four force transfer pins actually started to bend as such a high force is needed to get the pressing bearings to start moving. Once these bend it is game over. In the end I pressed (no pun intended) 4 x M12 high tensile cap head bolts into service as a replacement. These were an absolute pig to hold in place whilst assembling the tool on the hub - a friendly Octopus would have helped LOL - but they ...

  • Installing tool halves is stuck between wheel carrier and bearing hub.

Shipping was fast. When I remove old bearing unit from 2011 ford s-max everything works great. And also when I install new one it goes to the right position very great, only thing what vent wrong was that halves of installing tool did not separate between the hub of the new bearing. So I have to use hydraulic pressing cylinder to take halves out. I have also sent pictures and videos about this but no one does not answer enything to me.

  • Sturdy and good quality steel

It worked well for 2 front axel bearing change on volvo v70 2013. There is 1 downside tough, after changeing the rusty bearings, the threads on the tool where in quite bad shape due to the extremely high force required to remove the bearings. Also the fitment of the studs between the steel disc were not that great, but an easy fix with with some soda can foil winded around the studs made the fit perfect. If you want to repeat the process on different cars i would recommend you to use a hydraulic press instead of the included thread.
