    Good lightweight home studio stand

    This microphone stand is very light and easy to use. I would say this would be great for home studio recording. You could also use it for open mic night sort of things.It's a good entry level stand that gets the job done The cons would be that I wouldnt expect it to withstand a lot of wear and tear from heavy road use.

    Good for basic home usage...and nothing else.

    I bought two inexpensive boom stands and that's what I got. If for lite or non travel usage they're fine. Here's why. 1) the stand is light-weight and the legs are shorter than most. Unless set properly, the likelihood of it tipping are greater. 2) Surprise!..the boom will not unscrew from the base post, it is permanently mounted.you cannot use it as a stand-up. 3) The plastic tightening knobs won't last in constant usage. Usually metal on better stands. If it sits in your studio, your probably fine. Otherwise, pay more money for a better unit.

    Lightweight but good

    Definitely a worth while item. It prolly wont hold up a heavy mic, but it is perfect for the condensor mic I am using. I wish it came with a second adapter for the mic though. The one included is for a regular hand held mic, will not fit a small diameter condenser mic.

    New Mike Stand

    I am amazed at how this stand performs for the money! It is ultra light. I strap this to a dolly to load in my equipment. It is a good product. You cannot beat it for the money, and us musicians have to watch every dime!
