    OEM Briggs starter in excellent condition

    O.E.M. Briggs & Stratton starter. Very good condition. Perfect match to the burnt out one on engine. Cleaned it up a little, and it works great. Much cheaper than buying a new OEM starter, and much better than an aftermarket. Great find

    save your money...

    con: installed new starter, turned key, and pow !,. starter gear shattered into pieces. motor not frozen, turned easily by hand, starter gear meshed with fly wheel. still looking around garage floor, need 1 or 2 pieces to complete the gear circle.

    Cranker up

    My second Troy bilt pony both 17.5 horse Briggs . These factory starter just burn up to a grind sucking the Amps out of your battery thinking it’s bad ! Speaking of ! Can’t buy the cheapest battery ! Must have 230 to 360 cold cranking Amps you will be fighting a loosing battle putting battery charger on before every use . This starter will work well for you . Dose me .

    Better than new

    This is the third starter that I’ve had to put on my lawn tractor. This one is the best I am very happy I would recommend this starter to anyone. It was the least expensive one that I’ve ever bought and that’s the best one I’ve ever bought.

    Just envolved a little more work.

    Starter is fine however the gear ratio was different had to use the gear off of the old starter it had 1 tooth to many.
