However there was a crack in the barrel that I didn't see until I received the pen. When I reviewed the original posting photos, the crack actually was visible so I just missed it. A note in the description would have been helpful but it is possible that the seller didn't see it either. I can not complain because I paid such a low price for it. I do love how it writes and it draws up ink very well.

This lamp is dated "1955" into the cast base and it is in almost mint condition by my reckoning. It is everything I was looking for, ebay does it again. All thanks to this great seller who deserves accolades. Shipping was prompt and the item was exceptionally well packaged with plenty of padding within a sturdy corrugated box. Seller kindly accepted my offer and it was a bargain. Recommend this seller without question.
