The doors also have a spring and latch mechanism. The trigger is light as a feather. Once you work out how to set the trap it is easy. Raise the latch to the top of the door. lever the spring loaded catch to the top of the cage and feed the hook rod through before hooking (short rod into hook first, Long rod under short rod second) In all a good purchase
