Synopsis
From Generation X-ers to baby boomers and beyond, millions of Americans are rediscovering libertarianism -- a visionary alternative to the tired party orthodoxies of left and right. Now David Boaz presents the essential guidebook to the libertarian perspective, confronting head-on the tough questions frequently posed to libertarians, and detailing the roots, central tenets, solutions, and future of this school of thought in American politics., Tens of millions of Americans, from Generation X-ers to baby boomers and beyond, are rediscovering libertarianism, a visionary alternative to the tired party orthodoxies of left and right. In 1995 a Gallup poll found that 52 percent of Americans said "the federal government has become so large and powerful that it poses an immediate threat to the rights and freedoms of ordinary citizens." Later that year,The Wall Street Journalconcurred, saying: "Because of their growing disdain for government, more and more Americans appear to be drifting—often unwittingly—toward a libertarian philosophy."Libertarianism is hardly new, but its framework for liberty under law and economic progress makes it especially suited for the dynamic new era we are now entering. In the United States, the bureaucratic leviathan is newly threatened by a resurgence of the libertarian ideas upon which the country was founded. We are witnessing a breakdown of all the cherished beliefs of the welfare-warfare state. Americans have seen the failure of big government. First off, I'll say that I'm happy with this purchase and the seller. That said, I do want to mention that because the Amazon listing details were copied into the description, I thought it came with the blanket (says the plates will be wrapped in the blanket). I didn't see the condition notes in the item details section. Again, I don't hold this against the seller, I've done the same thing myself as a seller. Also the dishes were shipped dirty, but for the price, I can't complain. Thanks!

Item arrived defective and issue was not disclosed in the description. The clasp portion was bent permanently closed and roll bar did not move and was fixed in its position...No tracking number provided, poor packaging with no protection. The delicate brooch was shipped in a plain letter envelope in a single tri fold piece of paper (no box or bubble mailer). Seller did offer a refund which resolved the payment portion, but in reviewing other feedback I see that this has been an issue with them
