    Great Performances From a Master Russian Composer and Conductor

    Sergei Prokofiev is one of the greatest Russian classical composers, and Gennady Rozhdestvensky is perhaps the greatest Russian conductor of the postwar period.This beautifully recorded and remastered 9 CD box sets a dream come true for Russian ballet fans. Prokofiev was a modern master of the ballet format, and this is the first time every one of his ballets has been available in a comprehensive collection. The sound quality of the Russian orchestra is uniquely powerful, and the packaging is simple but high class. Do yourself a favor, and buy this box set while it is available at popular prices. I have a feeling that it may become a collectors item.
