    Good multimeter for small projects around the house

    This multimeter makes the marks you'd expect for the sub-$50 class of devices. The largest obvious drawback is the readout's limitation to read beyond whole numbers (no tenths, hundredths, thousandths). This unit is just fine for average household usage, but don't expect to gather exceedingly accurate readings of any kind. It's reasonably well built and sealed; mine's gotten rained on twice and it had no affect on performance. Overall a solid value for the price.
