      Works but needs adjustment to fit

      I would have given a five star review but the ends of the “legs” needed a slight adjustment in order to fit. It was easy to do once I figured out the problem but it took some fiddling to find why it wouldn’t fit. Once that was sorted with a few strokes of a knife the cap fit as expected and has worked fine.

      Did not fit my Kobalt 40v...

      Bought these for the Kobalt 40V. It was listed in the title as a compatible model. They don't fit! Tabs are way too wide for the side holes and the build up inside the cover is way too tall. Tried to modify with my Dremel but it was a disaster. If you have a Kobalt 40v please learn from my mistake. I assume they are fine if you have the Ryobi.

      Great value, perfect fit!

      These replacement spool caps are a great value and perfect fit for the Ryobi 18volt cordless string trimmer. Heavy duty and should last a while since its basically the only thing that wears out during use. The 10 pack makes it great to have spares on hand.

      More durable than the original

      This cap fits much tighter than the original and was a little tough to snap in, however it is made thicker and more durable. Feels like it should last a lot longer. This was a replacement for Craftsman obsolete #3411546CG and its working great.

      Kobalt
