    Scotland Yard dvd series

    This set of dvd's is, without doubt, one of the best buys that I have ever made. The series takes me back to an era in my life that I will never forget. Although the series was made in black and white the quality of these dvd's is really good and the sound quality is very good too. I am very pleased to own the series and highly recommended it to anyone who remembers the programme..... highly entertaining.

    Although only 30 minutes long, each film tells an interesting story.

    Good old fashioned films, proper stories, lovely old cars. They don’t make films like these anymore! I would recommend to anyone that likes ‘proper’ entertainment-not the stuff they churn out these days. More please.

    Scotland Yard tv series

    It's a collection of the Scotland Yard tv drama series - about 40 episodes - made from 1953 to 1960. Hardly lavish sets or wonderful filming locations, but as episodes of well acted dramas, they're unique and truly British, from a period we'll never see again.

    The DVD gives insight about case studies from Scotland Yard. They date back to late thirties to fifties. They are short, give a summary of the case about to be examined, and give the result, usually showing that crime ends in prison, or hanging! They are well presented, and show how Scotland Yard handled cases years ago.
