    Perfect little amplifier.

    This is the 3rd time I have purchased this amplifier. While I still have and use the first one that I bought 4 years, I use these in projects that I make for others. It has clean sound and the bass and treble knobs will boost their respective frequency much more than the average stereo receiver. It makes for a perfect amplifier if you need sound that is clean and fairly loud, not dj equipment loud, but loud enough to have to shout over. Power consumption at idle is .1 amp Total power used before distortion is .5 amp @ 12 volts. So it's about a 6 watt amp.

    Great amplifier for a low cost

    I have two of these and have been amazed at their great performance when used with book shelf size speakers. Be sure when you buy one of these that you are getting the original model. Some similar ones manufactured later under a similar brand name appear to rather cheaply made and operate poorly compared to this one.

    You Will Never FInd Something Like This For the Original $20 Again.

    You;ll never see something quite like this again for $20. These now go for $70 on eBay. It was good, REAL good, while it lasted. I got 3 of these babies. Too bad I broke 2 of them thinking I can experiment it's only $20 they'll always be around. The sound quality out of the easily matched a $60 amplifier. I don't know how they originally made these.

    Great product

    I initially had mixed feelings, but after reviewing all the reviews on eBay, Amazon and any other amp review board, I decided to take a chance. All I can say is that I'm glad I bought it, it does exactly what I needed it to do. It can crank up the music to a level much greater than I need. I will be buying more.
