All around great CPU. It's not Intel i7-8700K, which is unlocked and can be overclocked, but very good for everyday use and video games playing. Coupled with lots of RAM and NVMe drive performs very well, stays cool and makes your life easier while browsing, listening music, running modern day video games and whatnot. Extreme price increase
Due to bottlenecks on Intel's production, the price of this CPU, like many other Intel Core ix CPUs has nearly doubled within a few months. Unfortunately, I needed a powerful CPU with integrated GPU (mini ITX slim case), so I was unable to go for AMD Ryzen 2700. I7-8700
Great i7-8700, came with a fan and muscle to show for. Installed this on a ASRock Taichi motherboard with gskill 16gig memory running at 3200mhz, a curcial mc500 1TB, Corsair H100v2 cpu cooler and a GTX1080. Easy to install I could not be any happier great intel I7-8700 and replaced a old FX-8350 which is still running strong on Asus Sabertooth v2 MB. The seller ship I7-8700 in record speed and answer and questions I had with in matter of hours.
