While a bit expensive for the tech included, it functions as described. It's a great way to track power usage and the remote uses through IFTTT and other external tools can make for a product that can easily expand beyond the manufacturer's intentions. seems to work properly, if you believe it is accurate. But I'm not sure. Wemo works
These Wemo switch's do work, also able to control connected units away from home. this model shows some indication of the actual power being used, not just supposedly on or off, this helps confirm an appliance being controlled is actually working, and how many watts it is using. My experience with any wifi switch I have is there can be an occasional -no read- on the app, after a power outage, loss of wifi etc, I just restart it and it's working again, or if the app isn't working on my phone, I try the app on my tablet, but most of the time, it works great.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
