    Exceptional for this genre

    If you like this type of movie, fantasy I would say, this is a great one. It is one of my favorites and my nieces also which is why I purchased it for her birthday. Entertaining and fast moving, you literally get caught up in the suspense. Loved all the books in this series also, just wish they would keep making movies from the rest of the series.

    True to the novel

    I thoroughly enjoyed this film. I felt the actors really captured the essence of the characters in the book and the story kept fairly true to the novels. Very entertaining. If you like the Mortal Instruments book series by Cassandra Clare, I highly recommend this film.

    Wish there was more of Aidan Turner

    Big fan of Aidan Turner but he just has an important but smaller role. Wanted to see more of his story in the film. Mostly the movie is for a younger audience. Even so I did somewhat enjoy it.

    Good but not great

    I would not say the DVD is “like new” as there are scratches on the disc. However, it did not have any trouble playing. It did take longer than it said to deliver. But it was a good price, and my daughter is happy to have it!
