These very light batteries are much more reliable than the Lead Acid they replace.
While these may be more expensive than a Lead Acid battery, I consider them worth the extra money and now use them in all my motorcycles. I was very pleasantly surprised by how light they are and if you do any motorcycle racing you can easily save a couple of kilo's by switching to these. I have found them to be much more reliable in terms of holding a charge when a vehicle is not in use. They can also be charged faster than Lead Acid equivalents. So far I haven't had a problem with memory effects which killed the last couple of Lead Acid batteries I replaced. In terms of quality the SSB battery appears well made and so far the SSB batteries I have previously purchased have provided reliable service for a couple of years now. As an additional plus, you won't get acid spills if you drop the battery or mishandle it.Read full review

So far so good. After repeated frustration with Pb batteries in machines with less frequent use I decided to try Lion. ask me again in a few years but so far so good. I am concerned how it (fancy digital volt meter with push button switch to activate) will stand up to water when washing down the bike.

Works well. Feels like the box is empty it is that light. Voltage measurement on the top is more of a gimmick, can't access it in my bike, but might have a purpose.
