Nice Loupe
This is my first Loupe, and while it did take a couple of days getting used to it, I can now see more detail on my coins using it. Do need something stronger for really pinning out errors, however, dont let this deter you from p ui purchasing this quality piece of equipment.

B&L 7x Hastings Triplet
7x is a good balance between field of view and magnification for my purposes. The Hastings triplet is basically free of distortion and abberation, making it so much easier to use than the cheap imported knock offs. If you need or want higher magnifications those B&L Hastings triplets also have the same quality but higher magnifications will have a reduced field of view and depth of field because of the laws of optics. A magnifier does not wear out, so it is a one-time expense. Get the B&L Hastings Triplet and you will not be dissapointed.7x is a good balance between field of view and magnification for my purposes.
