    Works like a champ!

    Had my Benz mechanic install this today. Leak is no more! The old o-ring definitely was the culprit. It took longer to access and fill the reservoir and reassemble the trunk than it did to repack the cylinder. The procedural suggestions were spot on. Even with having to pay my mech for his time, this for $12 plus labor cost about 1/4 - 1/3 of what an MB service shop would have charged for a new cylinder install. Thank you.

    Works. No fluid leak yet!

    The instructions are the value here. Pretty well done. The only issue I had was getting the c-ring back in. The trick is to push the bushing into the cylinder a bit so you have a side wall to help. I wish I had taken a picture to include with the instructions. I've had my top up and down a dozen times or so ans so far no fluid leak.

    might fix issue might not. if not it cuases more damage then good.

    this is only the cylinder seal. You need to drill holes in the side of the cylinder to install this. If the main seals are leaking then most likely the piston seals are wearing and should be replaced and they are not in the kit. Once the hole is drilled if this does not fix your issue, no one will rebuild your cylinder do to the damage. This might fix your issue but it might not. if it does not you did more damage then good.
