Works fine
I was once told by a repair guy at a small engine repair shop that if I changed my oil and filter regularly that the filter would not be the cause if I ever had engine issues. With that in mind I started buying the black b&s filter instead of the much more expensive yellow one and have never noticed any difference. So my experience says save money and buy this filter.

Great little filters
Been about 10 years since my last oil filter change on my tractor that I use every year. Filter holds up and was still working after 10 years of use. What else is nice is that Briggs & Stratton filters one size fits most engines.
