      A lot of modifing to make it fit.

      I have a 1972 Chevy C10 with the stock 12 bolt rear. and I spent probably 3 hrs modifying almost every piece including the C-clips. maybe the older rear ends are slightly different from the new but it said it was compatible to my truck. It seemed like it was built well but i would not recommend if you have a 72 c 10.
