There are many methods to verify (such as firmware version (only valid name and version is “CY845 verA” for this model) and name, QR test, making sure SP+ and SP- are actually soldered to the solar panel leads, no weird type printing) all of which the unit I was sent from them contained. A+ to these guys on selling a good unit, and great customer service.

Non gen screen was rubbish compared to this one which is great) it's perfectly fine to use in the shower, keeps perfect time and came just as described. I was aware of the envelope postage method but it did come wrapped in some bubble wrap and arrived quickly and in perfect condition keeping in mind I also chose no packaging box option so all in all very happy with the purchase
