    Please note, the holes to which the belt guard attaches are not tapped. However, the bolts you salvage from the old transmission are self tapping. Use a drill, go slow, keep it square and you’ll be fine. Practice on one or both of the other 2 holes which are not used if you’d like.

    Makes mowing easy again.

    Same transmission as the original. Installation is kind of tricky so you have to pay close attention to how you take the old one out. But I will say, I'd forgotten how nice the drive works when it's new. Makes mowing much nicer and easier.

    Direct replacement

    Great "bolt on" direct replacement. Pros It is a complete assembly. If you just buy the gears you have to disassemble further than this. Perfect fit Cons To put the pulley on the gearbox needs to be opened to get to the wrench flats. I found that there was barely any grease in the assembly. Get yourself some HP or EP grease you will need it. I am still debating but I might add a zirk fitting for yearly maintenance. Toro must have hired an engineer that was not an A student as some of the design is great but the install is horrible. Just tear everything off plastic and all it will be easier.

    Perfect fit but beware as Toro no longer threads them

    Genuine brand new part ready to install but if you read the reviews you will see that they don’t come threaded for the 1/4 x 20 bolts they need to receive. Easily resolved if you have the tap but if you don’t you will be stuck.

    Good product. Make sure you know if you want it front wheel drive or rear wheel drive.

    Great product. It came set up as a rear wheel drive transmission. It was scary putting it in a front wheel drive mower. It would only go in reverse. I took it apart and switched the gears around to make it a front wheel drive transmission. It works perfectly.
