Light coverage. Suitable for sensitive skin. Won't clog pores. Blends well. I have try many mineral makeup brands and so far Jane Iredale has been the best for me. I have combination skin, prone to acne, blemishes , some redness ,some fine lines and wrinkles. This Pure Pressed looks natural, feels good on the skin, matte finish, you only need to use a little bit, makeup last long without the need of touch up. If you need or prefer full coverage, this is not for you. To achieve medium coverage I use the concealer of the same brand.

First, I love being able to try the product in a sample size: if the color or texture happens to be not right, you haven't lost too much money. Second, this matte, compressed powder is a really nice product! "Amber", a newish color, is a light/medium tone with a bit of yellow, perfect for fair skins that are not really pink. I find the makeup completely nonirritating. There is no scent. Coverage is light but buildable, invisible after application, and rarely needs a touchup. It also offers a little sun protection, about an SPF of 20, I think. I am pleased with this makeup and will buy again.

I have used Jane Iredale Pressed Base Mineral Foundation for years. If something works for you, why would you switch!! Foundation has good coverage and lasts all day without refreshing. I really like being able to buy REFILLS instead of the whole compact. More economical! I use the same shade foundation year round. Summer months I have a good tan but Latte color always works summer or winter.

I first tried this foundation over 10 years ago and it is one of the best I've used (I'm a makeup junkie, so I've tried MANY) its a powder but after a while it blends in to your skin and gives a beautiful finish. You control how much coverage you need, sheer or full, and since it's a mineral foundation it's a natural sunscreen. It also stays put all day..I think you'll love it!
