    Easy to fit and set the time required.

    We already have a number of these outdoor timer switches and they work well - hence the reason for buying another. The only reason for 4 stars is that the timer can only be set at 2 hour intervals rather than on an hourly basis.

    Poor wiring arrangement spoils a good concept.

    The functions of this device are straight forward. Operation would improved with an easily accessible manual override. The cable access is rediculous for an outdoor device. There is no possibility of fitting a gland. There are two closed grommet ports angled down and to the wall. Getting 1.5mm 3 core 12mm diameter tough cable (not SWA) in there is a challenge. Why the unit could not be just a few mm deeper to accept a gland is a mystery to me.

    Fantastic Device

    A simple and inconspicuous switch that is very easy to install. Very simple to set for switching off and of course it will switch you lights on when at dusk no matter which season it is. A really good buy.
