Bought these rings to make breakfast sandwiches with eggs, etc. on English muffins. I used them in my not quite perfectly flat stainless steel skillet. I sprayed the inside of the rings and the pan with cooking spray, preheated the pan the same as I always do for eggs, put the rings in to heat up a bit just before cracking the eggs into them. There was very little run from under, and after the eggs set up, I removed the rings with tongs, flipped the eggs to finish cooking, and they came out great. The eggs didn't stick to the rings. Used the same set of two to make another two eggs in the same batch of sandwiches. They washed up easily with a little soap on a sponge. I gave them four stars because of the accessories they came with. The connector is not a useful addition in my opinion, and the plastic lifter would probably melt. Overall, I am happy with my purchase and would recommend them. I read some of the "complaints" before I bought them and most seemed to be from either lack of patience or lack of common sense. These rings are a well made, sturdy product and work well when used properly.Read full review

I was so excited to get this so I could make perfectly round egg for on english muffins. I put the egg whites in the center, turned on the stove and turned around for 2 seconds only to see all the eggs covering the bottom of the skillet. I gave it a second try and same thing. I tried to hold the thing down tight with a spatula to help old the egg in. Worked better, but then I couldn't flip it to do the other side as everything on top spilled out. I do not recommend!

This device works, and it is very inexpensive. A few issues: It is non-stick, but even when I give it a shot of cooking spray, the eggs still tend to stick to it. Giving the rings a shake usually gets most of the egg to detach. The rings are not attached to the middle base, they hang on it. This is good for cleaning, but when you need to shake to get the egg off, they tend to come off the base. The handle is a piece of plastic that you squeeze to put through two holes in the base. Again, it works, but when you shake to get the eggs off, the handle can come off at the wrong time. I've started using the rings without the base, and use a folded up piece of paper towel to grab the edge to shake the egg out. This way I can deal with one ring at a time when things get stuck.

Two things - put them in the pan a couple minutes early so they warm up. And spray your cooking spray after that. Took a couple tries but now I get nice round bun sized eggs every time. Oh - leave the handle off of the center. Only use it to pick up the rings after the eggs have formed.

These work perfectly as long as your pan is perfectly flat. I used these to make pancakes and eggs. perfect circles every time and easy to use. no problems with the little handle thing getting hot. i was able to use just one if necessary because the sides cook the eggs, pancakes or whatever, and then use the tongs to flip over the whole thing.
