I have Gun hunted most of my life, growing up a farm boy, I learned to hunt early in life, as things were tough to those today , but normal for myself and my brother David..I never was much interested in Bow Hunting perhaps due to work and time contraints in which it involved..I live and farm now after retiring in Buffalo County , Wisconsin ...truly a home of some of the most beautiful Whitetail one could ever be blessed to share the land with...however, hearing many stories of wounded animals , or friends telling me the deer they found or shot with an arrow lodged in it's body and I could only imagine how much the animal suffered, and I turned my face against me shooting a bow...however being on our 106 acres of homesteaded land I found putting a small pond in through a part of our woods in a small four acre field, surrounded by nothing but other open farm land that with the result of the first game camera that I have ever used, it opened up a new world to me...a world of those whom live amongst us, all the animals...it was great...hunting not for the thrill , tho I did get excited , I found that the deer that gave their life so I could eat was humbling to me...and I re-thought hunting with a bow...so, I purchased a Ten Point Crossbow perhaps six years ago..I purchased a little kind of pop up thing that I could sit in, and I just was thrilled to watch everything that came out to the pond and to the pasture mix and corn that I grew in that back four acre field..I was insecure with my crossbow, buying a fat deer target, and shooting hundreds and hundreds of arrows at it at different distances I begin to feel somewhat confident about hunting with a bow for the first time ever!!, I couldn't shoot broadheads at my target as they didn't come out at all...My first broadheads , and those I use today were and are called Grim Reaper, however, when I first bought them , they didn't say crossbow on them, but it didn't matter ...they were humane, I put a Leupold Vendetta range finder along side my ten point scope, was the first mounted , as they did not ever have the dove tail to fit the Vendetta and to go on the Weaver mount under my scope...I found one on e-bay, the mount, not sure if it would work...it did!! Mouldy's Archery of Eau Claire , Wis...Will Molton said , Dale, if you can find me one, I will mount yours for free...it works flawlessly...but to Grim Reaper I say thank you, I shoot a lot, the practice broadhead is good enough, along with field points to put me within an inch of where your expandable humane broadhead effortlessly effectively gives me a humane kill near instantly...I have harvested what my family needs for food for the year for six years now..I have been off a bit , my error, have never, and I mean NEVER lost a deer...I have more then a great appreciation for hunting, but Grim Reaper has no proving point ...as a Marine, I know what works, as I have used what hasn't..and I walk with a limp...so thank you for creating one of the most humane ways of killing an animal that supports our lives here in Wisconsin...thank you ...and God Bless...and to all my brothers out there...Semper Fi... Lookout, Wisconsin... Buffalo County... and thank you for the opportunity to say thank you to everyone , and I mean everyone...Dale Powers...Read full review

Great broadheads. Used muzzys all my life this is the first mechanical I've used and they do fly same as fieldpoints. I'm shooting them from a ravin crossbow, haven't shot a deer yet but the way these things look they would have to be devastating. Would give them a try!

They are the best broadheads I ever used shot two deer last year with them and they didn't run no more than 50 yards. Before that i was using G5 broadheads and lost quite a few deer. So I highly recommend the grim reaper broadheads also I use a crossbow.
