    Really good product for railway modellers

    Metcalfe platform kits are extremely flexible enabling the modeller to create many different platform configurations. I trust Metcalfe products as they contain easy to follow instructions and the completed model looks correct. I've attended many model railway shows and many of these layouts use the same product. If like me you're not confident making scratch built models then these are excellent.

    A very good kit which if made up properly has strength along with looks

    These are good kits and I would say easier to assemble than many plastic kits, they can be made into whatever shape or size you require, I would say though that it is best to plan before construction exactly what shape you want, what length and what width is required as obviously you want it to be wider where the station buildings are going to be, all in all though, these do make up into a strong and robust platform and I would recommend them highly

    This is a great platform kit for those who need to build a custom station platform but are perhaps not confident enough to scratch build. It provides a very strong platform and contains detailed instructions. With the extra detailing it can be made to look very realistic.

    A starting platform.

    A really versatile kit. Using additional card it makes up into platforms of exactly the size needed to accommodate any station building. With a little imagination, walls can be made up to fit just about anywhere. Simple to build giving hours of fun seeing the structures taking shape.
