The Fab Four take center stage once more in this exclusive Rock Band spin-off. More than a compilation of songs from the Beatles, the game re-creates the band's historic concerts, signature instruments, and changing appearances over the span of a 12-album career. Digital versions of John, Paul, George, and Ringo will not only perform at authentic venues, but also within dreamlike environments inspired by some of the band's more colorful songs. As with previous entries in the Rock Band franchise, the game involves playing songs by following onscreen cues with one of four peripherals: a microphone, lead guitar, bass guitar, and drums. Vocals now offer three playable parts, a first for the series, including one lead and two harmonies. A built-in vocal trainer will help you get accustomed to singing each melody, as you are able to freely switch between all three parts with a press of a button. Three microphones are required to harmonize with your friends. Featured on the disc are 45 tracks, including "Back in the U.S.S.R.," "Here Comes the Sun," "I Feel Fine," "Taxman," "Octopus' Garden," "Get Back," "Day Tripper," "I Saw Her Standing There," "I Am the Walrus," and "I Want to Hold Your Hand." Downloadable content is also supported to expand the initial track list, with 1969's Abbey Road the first album scheduled for online distribution. Xbox 360 owners will also be able to download a system-exclusive track, "All You Need Is Love," to enhance their collection. The "Special Value Edition" contains the full game and standard instrument peripherals, rather than the Beatles' replica instruments featured in the "Limited Edition."

Graphics are quirky, but the instruments are great...
I got this game setup for the entire family at a steal price. My orginal plan was for the instruments to be used on other Rock Band & Guitar Hero games, and then to sell of the game itself. Well my wife and kids fell in love with the game - go figure. You get the drum kit with a Beatles logo, a microphone with a stand, and a special Paul McCartney guitar inside the game crate. All instruments are fully compatible with the other games out there, which is perfect in that your original guitar works excellent for the bass tracks. We can't get enough of the rock band!!!
I bought the Beatles Rock Band equipment and game as a Christmas present for my son. My husband and I opened it up to make sure that the video game and equipment were all in working order. We have had to try the game out three times and enjoyed all three times greatly. We cannot wait for our son to open this game on Christmas morning so that we can enjoy playing it again. There is an extensive list of Beatles songs to choose from and all are listed in categories depending on their difficulty level. We found the game to be very easy to maneuver around in and enjoyed the play time. I would recommend this game to anyone of all ages. The Beatles Rock Band Special Edition Review
The system works very well all parts of the system functioned as required and the music system responded as necessary. The two guitars were an addition that replaced the Fenders guitar that normally goes with the system. The only loss due to this change is that you do not have a true Beatles Rock Band System and the Fenders Guitar has a higher key playing that the two Les Paul Guitars have the capability. The overall ability of the system is good in that you can have two guitars playing with the drums and it adds a little more interest in the overall system. I am sure my grandchildren will enjoy this adventure into the Beatles music and I have more music for their enjoyment. The Beatles Rock Band Special Value Edition Xbox360
Fun game...thought it would have more of my favorite songs like "Hey Jude." I also thought the equipment (drums, guitar, mic) would be cooler looking and more "Beatles" since it was a whole Beatles set, not just a rock band set with a beatles game. overall a fun game and fun for the whole family...even those that hate video games.

Sucky Beatles Rockband Deal
I was so disappointed when I opened the package today. Everything was poorly shipped; it seemed as if everything was just thrown in a box with styrofoam, the box wasn't taped properly so styrofoam was coming out from the bottom of the box. The guitars and the drum set were filthy. There were nasty, sticky brown smudges on them. After I finished cleaning them, I was so excited to play because this was a late birthday gift my boyfriend wanted to get me, but oh no, something else, the icing on the cake. It looked like the disc was brand new, but no, it had a scratch on it and the disc was "unreadable". We couldn't even play the game we had been so anxious to play! The price was great, but in the end the deal sucked. We had to go to GameStop to buy a pre-owned copy of the ... I was so disappointed when I opened the package today.
