Like most items from China these days, its a little counter-intuitive to get started. But if you put aside the crazy translations, it does what its supposed to. I bought it as an experiment to decode my own transmitter, but I have confidence it would work as claimed for sat. downlink.

I rated this as easy to set up and use, because I have used the X2 products before and the set up and use are practically the same. The menu set up is identical. Once you get used to it, it is simple to operate. I use this unit as FTA satellite receiver, and have let it run for some weeks, 24/7 with no over heating with the unit mounted vertically with plenty of air space for ventilation. It doesn't even get warm. I had a little difficulty with the unit responding to the remote, but found that I had not pushed the connector into the unit completely. Tuner sensitivity is real good, it picked one weak transponder that other receivers did not find.

Think about a small fta box with huge features found in big receivers. It is so far a good nano receiver but i will post more results later...

When I try to move satellite dish to the right the input (HDMI) shows up and covers up the strength/quality and i have to wait a minute for it to go away. It does not do this when I move dish to the left, however, I would still recommend this receiver.
