This ASUS motherboard supports Intel 32 nm CPU, as well as Intel Support Boost Technology 2.0. The ASUS P8Z68-M PRO contains an Intel socket for use with second-generation core, i7/Core, i5/Core, and i3 processors. This LGA 1155 socket motherboard has dual-channel memory architecture, has an unbuffered memory, and supports Intel Extreme Memory Profile (XMP). Memory on this motherboard includes four DIMMs, with a maximum storage of 32 GB. This ASUS motherboard has an integrated graphics processor with multi-VGA output support, including HDMI, DVI, RGB, and DisplayPort ports. The ASUS P8Z68-M PRO has a maximum shared memory of 1748 MB. This LGA 1155 socket motherboard has multi-GPU support, which supports AMD Quad-GPU CrossFireX Technology as well as LucidLogix Virtu Technology. This motherboard also has four expansion slots. The chipset on this motherboard is an Intel Z68, and the LAN is a Realtek 8111E with 1 GB LAN controller. Audio on this ASUS motherboard includes a Realtek ALC892 eight-channel high definition audio codec, which supports jack-detection, multi-streaming, and front panel jack retasking. Overlocking protection on this motherboard includes ASUS C.P.R. (CPU parameter recall).
