I used this Karcher-OEM-Discharge-Outlet-9-036-703-0 for the electric version 1700 psi pressure washer (PW). The replacement part looks just like the original. It was difficult to open the PW box to access the replacement part. I used a Torx screwdriver with long extension for the job. After replaced the part, I tested the PW and it is working as new. Problem solved, I will keep the washer.

The male threads seem to engage, but are ultimately the wrong size for the standard Karcher hose and wand. First 2 turns of threads were ripped off within the first couple minutes of use, revealing the mismatch.

I'm pretty sure that this is an original manufacturer part and in that respect, it's perfectly fine. I rated it down 1 star based on the fact that the part is unchanged from the original and I think that the design should really be improved to make the part more robust. My pressure washer was leaking and when I took it apart, the O-rings were in bad shape, so I replaced those thinking it would fix the leak. However, it turned out that this elbow was leaking at the injection molding seam. It's not very thick there and there is room inside the pressure washer to make this part a bit thicker and more robust. I somewhat expect that I'll have to replace it again in a few years.

This appears a good OEM-comparable part, but does not have Part Number embossed on side as OEM does. The O-ring that is required does not come with this part. Reuse the old O-ring unless it is damaged. Use slight Silicone Synthetic grease to lubricate O-ring. Very Easy to remove/install using flt blade screwdriver to pry out connecting slide-clip (reuse OEM clip for Install).
