I'm a 49 year old 20 handicap golfer. I had been playing Callaway Big Bertha 2006 Steel shafted irons. I loved the 7-SW but was very inconsistent with the 4-6 irons. A few golfer friends suggested that I would be better off with hybrids. After demoing several brands I settled on the Adams Idea A2 OS. I had originally thought to pick up just the 4-6 hybrid but found it difficult to find them at the price I wanted on Ebay. I then decided to buy this graphite shafted set which included 4-6 hybrid and the 7-PW irons. I 'm very happy with the set and hit the hybrids much better than my old long irons. I also hit the 7-PW very well also. Since then I've sold on Ebay my old Callaway 5 and 7 wood and the 4-PW for a very fair price. My bag now contains the Callaway Big Bertha driver and 3 wood, the Adams 3-6 hybrids, the adams 7-PW irons and my old steel shafted Big Bertha A and SW wedges. I also have an Odyssey white hot XG-1 putter that I bought on ebay for a very fair price and am very happy with. I'm looking forward to playing happily for at least the next few years with this arrangement. I better or my wife will kill me if I start talking about needing new clubs again !Read full review

Great clubs! Looks great on set up. I am just getting back into the game and decided to trash my ping "look a likes". After hitting these clubs in the store I knew these were the irons for me. First round I never played the woods and only hit the 3 and 4 irons all day. I never pulled out my "snake killer" before , but these Adams are easy to hit with a hugh sweet spot! Found on Ebay for $309 and the local dealer was set at $599. Good set of clubs for mid 20 working towards single digits in the next year or so.
Still haven't used it on a real course yet, but it feels and looks great.

These are discontinued clubs last built by Adams around five years ago. When I found a set on Ebay I purchased them quickly since my original A20S driver failed due to a weak weld. I have always enjoyed the feeling of these clubs when you strike the ball. Very satisfying feeling. The set I have is 1-3-5 Senior Flex Woods plus 4H/5H/6H/7H/8/9/PW/SW. I will keep these in addition to a regular flex set of Adams A70S clubs since my clubhead speed still registers in the plus 80 range. Great clubs if you can find them - particularly for men.
