    Did you know that the old fashioned BA screws were metric? So the Brits adopted the metric pitches for the purpose of nuts staying put. These are general purpose nuts, common as muck, but this particular product is subjected to a really good tempering process, which produces a very tough little nut. Able to withstand high torque loading, you won't be disappointed ... I mean, even the engineers amongst you won't be disappointed. Good value for money.
