Title falls a little short of books content.
I really like this book but I was sorry to see that the book did not have more coverage of the larger scale trains, such as LGB, O and S scales. The text is short but has a lot of useful information for the model railroader who likes both American and European trains and rolling stock. The major part of the book is like a large model train catalog and covers mostly HO, N and some Z scale locomotives and rolling stock. I liked the fact that they had a guide on how to read the information provided in their pictures of the models shown and they had a small map showing the locations of the railroads that used this equipment. The only reason I rated this book as Good and not Excellent was due to the the lack of coverage of the larger scales. I felt to be a true, World Guide to Model Trains, ...
