If you have anything that is mounted to the side of your firearm, like a shell side saddle or a weapon light, this case is not deep enough, and you will not be able to close the lid. The item arrived a day before it was supposed to, which was great. Once I received the item, I did a quick quality check; it looked OK, but I wasn't so sure if it would take the beating of 00 Buckshot out of my 12 gauge Remington 870 Tac-14. Long story short, it did very well. I have this grip with a laser/light combo; hip firing this thing is so much fun.
