This is a really cool way to learn about spectroscopes. The device worked with my iPhone to generate a spectra showing what my photography filters were doing. From the spectra, graphs showing the light transmission could be made. The linked software was impressive. Very pleased with the purchase. I learned a lot.
It took a long time for the item to get to me, but that was not the fault of the seller. It seems it got hung up in customs. I’m not going to complain about that.

Works as expected. Come with everything needed to make it work. There are two gratings and two slits come with the kit. Users will need to use their own phone or imaging device to see the rainbow colors. Users also need to follow instructions provided by the seller to cut and fold and make the spectrometer by yourself. It is not a spectrometer you can use out of the box. You need to have basic tools like scissor, blade and glue/tape to make it work
