The voltage regulator was 100% compatible with my vehicle's original Toyota branded generator ( 4 Runner 1999 ) and works as expected, seeing 14V on the battery terminals, so it is charging, no issues, seems good. Saved over 200$. A+++ Super satisfied, and if the 4 runner is happy, i am also happy !

      Easiest $200 Savings ever

      Labor is super easy and install was a breeze do not hesitate to do this and save the big money my 2002 4Runner has 250k miles and the bearings were good just needed to replace the brushes and did the voltage regulator for fun. Saves the parts left over all I need to do is install the new brushes and I have an extra rebuild kit for the tool box when shtf jk. Too bad I’m gonna have to wait another 250kmiles or 16years

      Great kit

      Excellent rebuild kit. Everything fit good and alternator works nice and quiet now. The bearings were bad in mine(making a growling whining sound kinda like a bad power steering pump) and they are a little tough to get off the shaft but the brushes and regulator were easy to install.
