    Replacement print head for Pixma.

    My printhead failed and in spite of cleaning it, still failed. So I paid $40 for a brand new printer (HP). This enabled me to complete my urgent Christmas card print job. I then paid $50 for a replacement print head for the Pixma and was rather lucky. It worked . A lot of things could have gone wrong. So I now have a backup printer for my colour work. Thanks are due to some utube videos. I can also use my little store of color cartridges which would otherwise been wasted. However DOY is always risky. I was lucky. The part came amazingly quickly , especially because it all happened over the Christmas period.

    Good quick Printer fix.

    So easy to replace, and worked perfectly with the first print correcting the error I had where odd lines were coming out blurry. Cheaper than buying a new printer!

    Excellent printer.

    It is an important product that it can't work without this peice inside it. I 've used this printer for five years now and this is the only problem I've had now saying this I need to tell you that it is a nessessity to use this printer at lease 2-3 times a week to keep the printhead lubricated and to prevent the inks from drying out. The general rule is to use the printer frequently and it will serve you well.
