Jim Henson's Muppets make their film debut in this charming story that chronicles their rise to fame. It all begins with Kermit the Frog sitting in a swamp singing and strumming a guitar.     Muppets are always a WIN!

    Love this movie!!! We had to get a new one since we literally wore out the previous one we had as a VHS. This new DVD should last a while longer than the tape. We love the music/songs and the characters are some of our very favorites. We laugh every time we watch it!!!!

    A CLASSIC MUPPET MOVIE/SPECIAL MEANING TO ME

    I took my daughter to see this movie in 1979 on her 2nd birthday, and she loved it.....she passed away 2 1/2 yrs later....she had an inoperable brain tumor. Well, here it is 29 yrs later and I purchased this movie for my son-in-law, who is married to my younter daughter. Yes, he is 27 yrs old and still loves this movie. My younger daughter got married in May 2010 and they danced to THE RAINBOW CONNECTION sang by Kermie! My son-in-law sang the song to my daughter as they were dancing. This movie holds so many wonderful memories and meanings in my heart. Oh by the way....it was raining on the day of her wedding, and just as she came down the aisle with her Dad, the sun broke through the clouds and a huge rainbow appeared in the sky, which we all witnessed because the venue had huge ...
