A Great Replacement
It was the Harley radio that was junk. I was very disappointed in the OEM radio on my Harley. I found out that others considered it junk too. The Aquatic was EASY to install and has done a great job since installation. It took a little effort to wire the rear speakers, but I got it done by myself. Total time to install was less than half an hour. It is easy to use and easy to connect to the phone. I will be replacing the OEM speakers next so that the radio can live up to its full potential. I highly recommend this radio to replace the JUNK OEM radio Harley puts on the bike. BTW - It is a MUCH cheaper solution than having the dealership replace your radio. They were going to charge me close to $1000 to go with a new radio. No thanks, I will do it myself. And this radio makes it easy peasy ... It was the Harley radio that was junk. Big mistake
At a glance you would think that this radio was very good after using it however you realize that you have to open it every time to get your iPod or your phone from behind the faceplate which is ridiculous unless you're a Smuggler. USB not working can't even charge my phone on iPods. Absolutely love it. I have a FLHTCI. It was plug and play 💯 percent. Took about an hour to take it a part and reassemble the fairing. The Allen bolts holding it in are fun, but not that bad. All you need to do the job are torx and a set of Allen Wrenches. Simple install. It has a clock, it tells Artist, Album, and song. It cranks too. No AVC, but it's a great unit. Well worth my money. Only lacking 1 feature
The radio was easy to install, took longer to remove flaring that installation. All the radio controls worked from motorcycle handle bar controls. I used an old cell phone with music downloaded on it as my source. Hooked to radio Bluetooth it was great and being "inside" the radio removed hanging cords. I would have given 5 stars if radio had a speed sensor in it that raised and lowered volume when you slowed down or sped up. Installed on a 2010 Harley Davidson Electric Glide Ultra Limited.The radio was easy to install, took longer to remove flaring that installation.
