One Lamp (of two ordered) stopped working after two (2) uses. The light started to flicker then would go out. As I was holding the brass stand to change the light, an electrical vibration/buzz could be felft through the metal. The light bulb was checked in the second lamp and has been working fine since. I think the faulty lamp may have an electrical fault. On a good note, the lamp that works is fantastic and well worth buying ��

Item arrived on time, a s described and well packaged. Item has beein installed in lamp which was a Bankers lamp made by Stiffel when they were still locatd in Chicago and shade fit the alamp. It was in facet tehe second time the shade had been broken and had to be replaced.
