When working in the open, this tool is easy to use. In a cramped space, not so much, as you need to be able to squeeze the handles using both hands. They are simply too far apart and require a lot of strength to complete the crimp. That said, I managed between joists in a ceiling space by leveraging one handle by resting it against a block of wood. The only issue I had was a leak when I did not double-check my connections before turning the water back on and found out I missed crimping one cinch clamp.
