FOUND MY STRING OF CHOICE
I fitted these all-silver strings to my Martin Dreadnought Jr and am very happy with the tone. They feel a bit more course against the fingertips than Elixirs but they have a lovely warm, zingy tone that suits the Martin very well. I plan to fit them to my Taylor GS Mini next. Recommended.

Martin Retro monel.
Great strings, I usually play with custom lights (11s) but I ordered the 12s of the retros. Never used them before. They feel slightly lighter than your typical 12 gauge and they sound great on my 000x1ae. For more dazzly pieces I might try the 11s next time but quality strings. Would sound God with all mahagany I would imagine.

Back from the glory days of Bob Dylan, Simon & Garfunkel, Cat Stevens and many more, Martin reintroduce the use of Monel in these strings that give you an extraordinary balanced sound and volume that truly compliments the sound of wood, with a vintage vibe that bronze strings only render when they are old and nearly at the end of their life. Good quality strings. Great sound.
Excellent strings. I prefer strings more mellow sounding than bright and not a tiny kinda sound like the 11s and under. It is a personal choice but l find them excellent on my electro acoustic.
