A full-color look at old-time US paper money!
If you would like to see American money from days gone by, and in color, then this is the book for you! Since very few collectors will have examples of the original banknotes in excellent condition, this is the next best thing. The full color images in this book give the reader the best possible look at the artwork that went into American paper money back in the old days, along with some of the history that went into them. It is a marked improvement on the previous black-and-white versions of this book that were published in previous years, and I am happy to have my copy of this book.If you would like to see American money from days gone by, and in color, then this is the book for you! Book will work in a pinch but the other Whitman book is far Superior and much easier to navigate. Read my Review and judge for yourself.
It is very difficult to look up a specific note, in other words it is not that user friendly. Example if you have a $2.00 Educational Note. In order to find it you have to look up Silver Certificates and then look through all the Silver Certificates to find the Educational Notes and then then $2.00 Note. Where as "The Official Red Book A Guide Book Of United States Paper Money" which is also another Whitman book you just look up the denomination which is in order front to back $1.00 to $100,000.00 and when you get to the denomination they are all listed in order of Oldest to Newest 1862-present. It is so much easier to find the notes. The Photo are very nice in the book however the photos in "The Official Red Book A Guide Book Of United States Paper Money" are equally as nice and there ...
