I ordered the wrong piece but I was able to make this one work. LOL .. because this did not fit my Macbook pro 2011 13" I failed to notice this was for the 15", however got it to work shhhh don't tell Apple and unless you plan on doing some extra cutting and drilling on your mac don't buy the 15" airport card for the 13" LOL LOL Thank you it works for me in the end.

My "new to me" Apple Macbook Pro

I can't brag on my "new to me" Apple Macbook Pro enough. I feel blessed everyday when I am using it. It works like a dream come true. It once developed a memory stick problem and was quickly and completely resolved. I will by my computers from here for now on!!!

  • Like having a smart & reliable little friend with you all the time.

I purchased my 2011 15.4" MacBook Pro used on eBay. I'm always nervous buying big ticket items online, but I won the laptop at a great price. It arrived with some cosmetic damage I had not expected, so I contacted the seller. The seller agreed to pay for Apple to cosmetically refurbish the whole laptop. When I got it back from Apple, it was just like a brand new machine! It has performed flawlessly for me ever since. I did upgrade the memory to 8GB (mostly just because I could), but even at 4GB it was a very fast computer. The quadcore i7 processor is more than powerful enough to run multiple applications simultaneously, even taxing ones such as graphics/video rendering or professional audio recording and rendering. I upgraded from an earlier model MacBook Pro with a coreduo ...

  • Last of the upgradable

When Apple decided to solder RAM to the motherboard I knew that I wouldn't be looking at 'used refurbs' when it came time to retire a machine. The ability to remove the back panel . . . and add RAM . . . an SSD drive . . . swap out the optical for extra storage makes this a great buy at a great price.

  • It’s ok

I got this so I could travel with my graphic tablet. Ran smooth on boot up but began to lag before I even finished start up. Mouse and programs lagged and sometimes wouldn’t even open/work. Would be fine but I need it to reliably run my art programs. Tablet only ran as a second monitor with no available functions, like opening the command window or touch. Great laptop otherwise.
