    Another sublime surprise.

    I have the JSB album and just like then, I bought this album thinking I know what to expect. Each time his playing and playlist choice simply blew my socks off. He will be a leading figure in this renaissance, I'm certain. Now I am getting all his discs. Sometimes you just need to submit to higher knowledge. I go willingly.

    Music For All The Senses

    This CD is indeed a worthy successor to Vikingur Olafsson's CD of Bach which won for him the Gramophone Artist of the Year award. In both the programming shows imagination and sensitivity, there is artistry to match and a remarkable technical command and assurance in the playing.Beautifully presented with notes by the artist entitled Music For All The Senses this fully deserves the five stars.

    Olafsson explores two great French composers of keyboard music, Rameau and Debussy and the synergy between their music. If you enjoyed his Bach recording, this is a must buy.
